Korea Fisheries Research & Development Institute-Mr. Dad, 'Aquatic Products Land-based Farming Joint Business and Competitiveness Enhancement Business Agreement Ceremony' Held

The 'Aquatic Product Land-based Farming Joint Project and Competitiveness Enhancement Business Agreement Ceremony' was held, hosted by the Korea Fisheries Research and Development Institute and Mr. Dad.

The event was attended by Lee Hyeon-gyo, head of the Gyeongbuk Agricultural and Food Distribution Education Promotion Agency, Kim Min-su, CEO of the Korea Fisheries Research and Development Institute, Seo Jun-yeol, CEO of Mister Dad, Hwang Jeong-heung, CEO of Daywells Agricultural Corporation, and food hygiene experts.

The contents of the agreement included: ◇Agreement on joint projects to strengthen the production and sales competitiveness of eco-friendly land-based aquaculture products; ◇Support activities such as online and offline distribution, logistics, and product R&D for eco-friendly bio-aquatic products and land-based aquaculture products; ◇Joint efforts to create a successful land-based aquaculture factory in Gyeongsangbuk-do; ◇Vitalization of the local economy through operation of regional brands for land-based aquaculture products, etc.


Kim Min-soo, the head of the Korea Fisheries Research and Development Institute, said, “I am happy to be able to provide the FICL (pickle) service, which allows stable land-based shrimp farming in any city in Gyeongsangbuk-do, together with Mister Appa,” and “I believe that we will be able to create a lot of synergy in the production, distribution, and sales of land-based farmed shrimp for local production and consumption of marine products.”
