IBK Industrial Bank of Korea 's startup incubation platform ' IBK Changgong (創工)' announced on the 21st that it held the 'IBK Changgong Food Tech & Agri Tech Networking Day' at the IBK Changgong Guro Center on the 19th.
This event consisted of special lectures by experts in the agricultural and food sector, panel discussions, and networking sessions to strengthen the capabilities of foodtech and agritech innovative startups, and was attended by approximately 30 people from startups, large corporations, VCs, and government agencies.
Magna Investment Vice President Song Jin-ho participated as a lecturer in the special lecture, and shared various insights on the topic of ‘Agricultural and Food/Food Tech Venture Investment’, including trends in the agricultural and food and food tech industries and the status of startup investment.
The panel discussion that followed was attended by three panelists: GS Retail Team Leader Seo Eun-jung, Magna Investment Vice President Song Jin-ho, and Korea Institute of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Center Director Eom In-yong. Various topics were covered, including open innovation with large companies for startups in the agricultural, food, and food tech industries, and ways to utilize government support projects.
